From the first time I enrolled and started the training course, I was fascinated at the humane approach of the training staffs, their zeal and dedication to transferring specialty clinical research practical skills and knowledge to us trainees. The Training program was excellently designed and conducted. We had top World Class Clinical Research training focused on Practical Orientation blended with deep practical simulation on clinical trial preparation, site qualification, Initiation, clinical trial monitoring and close out. We were thought about the importance of patient's safety, interest and welfare coupled with strict adherence to the study protocols, clinical research regulations (Regulatory Guidelines) ethics in clinical research (IRB) and importance of Good Clinical Practice (GCP). We were exposed to different practical scenarios as regards how to identify, document and report protocol deviations and what constitute protocol deviations, what amounts to adverse events, serious adverse events and Suspected Unexpected Serious Adverse Reaction, how to write clinical trial monitoring reports , clinical trial managements , drug discovery , how to write study design , protocol design and how to use the EDC system and various EDC systems out there and their advantages and disadvantages . The course structure was excellently designed as we had course works, practical reports, interactive sessions, short presentations, quizzes, tests and exams. I enjoyed every part of the training as we always kept busy all the time. The flexibility of the training enabled me to work while I was training as modules / training were done on a block of three days every week for six weeks. I am more than grateful to Timkings International Associates Limited, and its CEO Dr. Timothy Ekwebelem for giving me such a wonderful opportunity to be trained and be given an automatic employment in their company.
